Completing the story while doing only a fraction of the side quests takes about 30 hours. Now, add to that all of those extra missions, and you have an even longer experience. Playthrough 2 is an additional hours. It will last you a good hours. Some people may have completely missed this scenario, opting to replay the original story again.
Now that you know about the ability to play a different scenario in your second playthrough, what makes it even more interesting is that you're not forced to play as the other character. Although you can mix and match which scenario you want to play with which character, ultimately it is the character you choose that decides the main plot of what happens in your second playthrough, not the scenario.
If you liked how Leon's story played out, but want the first part of the playthrough to be different, pick him for scenario B and see if you like it better. If you're going to go for a second run at Resident Evil 2: Remake and decide to choose a different character to play as, don't be surprised that the guns that will available to you are completely different.
This is definitely one aspect of the game that forces its players outside their comfort zones, as it doesn't give them any gun that they got used to in their first playthrough.
So if you're going to go at it as a different character, don't be surprised if you can't find your favorite gun, because the game makes you find a new favorite instead. In the likely case that you feel up for a bigger challenge upon completing your first run on normal difficulty, it's important to know that the increase in difficulty is nothing to laugh at.
The game is quite challenging as it is, what with the abundance of tight hallways filled with zombies and a very limited amount of ammo and recourses you can find. Raising the difficulty puts even a greater strain on your inventory management skills, as the game will make you conserve every single bullet until you absolutely need to fire it.
Increasing the difficulty for your second run can be a good idea, though, if you want to feel even more dread as you hear zombies approaching from around the corner, as it definitely adds more to the overall experience. When playing challenging games most of us love to hunt down game achievements or trophies once we're familiar enough with the game itself. Not gonna say it's gonna be easy.
Playing borderlands again. Hunter or Siren, I'm wanting to reach higher difficulties. What exactly is playthrough 2. Which do you think is the best farm.
