This is one of those things that just doesn't make any sense to me.

There is a lot of illogical things I can look past in FO3 by attempting to use "game logic" like the FOBible talks about but when you got guys screaming at you to die already I'm hungry it makes it hard.

Not to mention the fact there is TONS of food scattered around, maybe not enough for a long survival period but certainly enough to not have to hunt people.
